Ancient Egypt's lovers, this is your place. The room is inspired (in a modern and much more comfortable way!) by the original room, in Luxor, of the famous Sir Howard Carter, who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamon.

This room is a very masculine one and evokes the political career of Emmanuel de Saint-Priest: he was, at the end of the XVIIIth century the ambassador of the French Royal Court to the Ottoman Empire. Large (22 sqm, 237 sq ft).

A room for a great Lady! Madame de Lafayette was born Adrienne de Noailles, in one of the most famous family of the french aristocracy.

The library dates back to the end of the 19th century with linen-fold panelling typical of the time. The fireplace was assembled during this period re-using 16th century elements. The central panel bears motifs inspired by Antiquity: Ceres (?), fauns, cornucopiae and so on.

The rooms are dedicated to illustrious persons who lived or stayed at Reignac. The decor and the chosen pieces of period furniture aim at recreating the atmosphere most familiar to these great names in history, while insuring the hosts all the comfort of a luxury hotel. All the rooms are located in the Château.

A very nice room (24 sqm, 258 sq ft), dedicated to a great lover, Countess Marie d'Agoult, mistress of the Polish music composer, Franz Liszt. Exposed beams (one of which still retains an inscription of a « Monsieur Leserre », carpenter, who built the frame of the Château in 1706), mid-XIXth century furniture and paintings, all this give to the room a very romantic and feminine atmosphere. Prestige room Jean Baptiste Charcot, french explorer (1867-1936)

This very large room (50 sqm, 538 sq ft) is the most atypical room of Château de Reignac. Atypical thanks to its location, directly under the original frame of the Château, its layout (the bathroom is not separated from the main part of the room, only the toilets are separated), its very cosy and « far from the crowd » atmosphere. A room for a couple in love! The room is equipped with a super Kingsize bed, the bathroom, with a wash hand basin and bathtub with a hand shower. Toilets are separated. Room accessible by elevator up to the second floor, then a short flight of steps.

This room is not suitable for disabled guests.
